Walking Through Opioid Management

In 2017, around 1.7 million people in the United States were suffering from Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). More than 47,000 of those Americans died as a result of OUD1. Community pharmacist are in an ideal position to impact this number by intervening and decreasing a patient’s risk of developing OUD.
NCPA is dedicated to providing pharmacists with the tools and resources needed to care for all patients taking opioids and ensure the safety of their communities.
