On Friday, June 9, NCPA submitted comments to the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response in response to their pre-decisional draft of the National Health Care Preparedness and Response Capabilities document. The document outlines expanded workforce for health care delivery system staff, which extends beyond health systems and discusses specific guidelines for maintaining a strong workforce in terms of staffing, appropriate staff training, utilization of volunteers when applicable, and addressing mental health and burnout.
