Four independent pharmacies in the Philadelphia area made the holidays brighter for parents in search of hard-to-find children’s Motrin. Marc Ost of Eric’s Rx Shoppe said that instead of increasing the price because it’s so hard to get, the pharmacies decided to give out a few cases to customers in need – for free. “The response we have got has been amazing,” Ost said. “For a parent to find it, let alone get it for free … It’s just made it ever more special.” The participating pharmacies-turned-Santas were Skippack Pharmacy, Parkway Pharmacy, Springfield Pharmacy, and Eric’s Rx Shoppe.
