Patients dealing with pain management challenges walk into your pharmacy every day, and many of them are using opioids to help with that. The CDC released a new training tool to help prepare pharmacists for how to smartly navigate those patients’ needs and care strategies, whether or not the treatment involves opioids. The training also has tips on the tapering process and opioid use disorder treatment. The course offers free continuing education.
