Take your LTC services to the next level

NCPA June 24, 2026

Long-term care pharmacy is a broad category, with many options for pharmacies looking to build new revenue streams. That’s why we’re holding two brand-new workshops diving into ways to grow your business into specific areas of LTC in the days before the 2026 NCPA Annual Convention, Oct. 3-6, in Kansas City, Mo. One covers ways to expand existing LTC services into new markets or patient types, while the other explores the opportunities emerging from the growing demand for at-home care.

Here are some more details on each:

The Advanced LTC Pharmacy Workshop, Oct. 1, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., is designed for pharmacies already servicing long-term care patients. This course helps pharmacies build a financially sustainable and competitive LTC pharmacy business, with practical, hands-on strategies to address industry challenges such as reimbursement issues, market consolidation, and ever-changing regulations and programs.

The Long-Term Care Pharmacy at Home Workshop, Oct. 2, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., will discuss the nuances of building and scaling LTC pharmacy at home services, including navigating regulatory requirements, effective staffing structures, and selecting optimal medication packaging solutions. The workshop also highlights high-value clinical services to improve patient outcomes, such as transitions of care, remote therapy monitoring/remote patient monitoring, and chronic disease support.
