This year saw a lot of progress on pharmacy-related policy issues in states across the country. PBM regulation and enforcement actions were a major theme in 2025, and several bills were introduced on payment for non-dispensing services, and scope of practice issues. We sum up that progress in this month’s issue of America's Pharmacist®.
We also hear from NCPA member Joseph P. Navarra, RPh, who after working at his family’s small local chain decided to start his own compounding center, and learn about how Tarrytown Pharmacy, in Austin, Texas, ensures its patients get old-school care using cutting-edge industry innovations. (Additionally, congratulations to Tarrytown for its 84th year serving the Austin area!)
