Tuberville visits Alabama independent pharmacy ownersWashington is abuzz about PBM problems, but the fight for reform doesn’t just happen in the Capital Beltway. It’s in policymakers’ districts too. Their upcoming district work periods in August and October are great opportunities for you to host them in your pharmacy, show what your team does for their constituents, and advocate for reforms that would help you continue to serve the community. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) is ahead of the game this year, having met with Alabama pharmacy owners last week. He discussed community pharmacy’s federal PBM reform priorities with attendees Blake Gowen (Payless Pharmacy), Billy Holt (Ardmore Drugs), Tim Douthit (Bendall’s Pharmacy), Philip Pressley (Athens Pharmacy), Jeremy Moses (Athens Pharmacy), Chris Matthews (Payless Pharmacy), Edward Guice (Guice Pharmacy), Tammy Garrett (Southside Pharmacy), and Jeb Jones (Westside Pharmacy).
