Upcoming NCPA Events for Pharmacy Teams

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (Aug. 6, 2026) – The National Community Pharmacists Association is pleased to announce these upcoming online events for pharmacists and pharmacy team members:  

  • Aug. 13 – Data-Driven Diabetes Care: How to Turn Pharmacy Dispensing Data into DSMES Enrollment Opportunities, part of our NCPA Learning Hour series. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to grow your existing services, learn how to turn everyday dispensing data into actionable opportunities for patient outreach and diabetes self-management education enrollment.   • Aug. 24 – Registration deadline for the Diabetes Accreditation Boot Camp. The NCPA Innovation Center and PharmFurther offer this turnkey online course to help prepare participants for diabetes self-management education accreditation in six weeks or less so they can bill Medicare and other payers for diabetes education they’re probably already providing. Ongoing:  

  • Encouraging community pharmacy teams to invite their federal representatives for a pharmacy visit during the August and October in-district work periods. Community pharmacy achieved a significant win this year, but there’s still more to accomplish. This important initiative will push for progress and keep community pharmacy on the minds of members of Congress. Learn more and sign up to participate.
  • Registration is open for the Pre-Convention Growth and Profitability Programs being held in Kansas City, Mo., ahead of the NCPA 2026 Annual Convention. These courses will cover fundamentals of pharmacy ownership, real-world applications for artificial intelligence, long-term care pharmacy at home, and ways to advance existing LTC pharmacy services.   • Registration is open for the NCPA 2026 Annual Convention and Expo. The convention, which will be held Oct. 3-6 in Kansas City, Mo., is the premier national business show for independent pharmacists and their teams. Learn more and register.
