ALEXANDRIA, Va. (Sept. 29, 2023) – The National Community Pharmacists Association is pleased to announce these upcoming events for pharmacists and pharmacy team members:
- Oct. 4 – Engage the 4Ms Model: Why Your Pharmacy is Prime for Integrating a Novel Collaborative to Impact Your Community and Your Bottom Line, online course. Aging patients’ health further declines when their functional capacity, cognitive health, and emotional well-being are left unaddressed. A preventative self-management program that focuses on the 4Ms Model and leverages a physiatry-pharmacy collaboration can support these patients and their pharmacy. This is part of a broader series highlighting novel enhanced services that pharmacies can implement. Learn more and register.
- Oct. 12-14 – Pre-Convention Growth and Profitability Programs, in Orlando. Pre-convention programming includes long-term care, pharmacy ownership, point-of-care test and treat, and a new course to help attendees revamp their pharmacies from the inside out. Learn more and register.
- Oct. 14-17 – The NCPA 2023 Annual Convention and Expo, in Orlando. The premier event for independent pharmacy teams, the convention will feature cutting-edge business ideas to help attendees prepare for the DIR hangover and beyond. Learn more and register.
Additionally, NCPA is partnering with the Avant Pharmacy and Wellness team to launch Implementing Pharmacogenomics, a five-hour, on-demand CE course detailing what independent pharmacy teams need to offer this cash-based service to their patients.
