Diabetes Accreditation Boot Camp

This turnkey online course will help prepare you for DSME accreditation in six weeks or less so you can finally start billing Medicare and other payers for diabetes education you’re probably already providing.

Why should you offer DSME?

• It's a billable, evidence-based service that allows pharmacists to improve clinical outcomes and quality of life for patients with diabetes.

• Currently, one-on-one education pays $120 per hour, and group education pays $28 per hour per person for up to 20 people – a potential of $560 per hour.

• You’ll see a return on your investment after just seven patients have completed the program.

• Launching an accredited DSME program is simple when you have the right tools and support. But first, your site must be accredited to bill Medicare. This A-Z guide to accreditation takes you through the process step-by-step, with hands-on guidance from our live, expert instructors.

• Diabetes Accreditation Boot Camp is led by DSME expert Travis Wolff, PharmD, who has successfully helped over 300 pharmacies implement it too.

The program can include a total of 10 weeks of mentorship, in which Travis will take you through the process of becoming an accredited DSME site from start to finish and provide you with:

• Customizable operations manuals – you won't have to develop them from scratch.

• Weekly meetings over the span of six weeks to review documentation required for accreditation.

• Optional on-demand consultations and guidance throughout the entire accreditation process.

• An additional two weeks of office hours with Travis after the six-week course for assistance with homework and submitting your application.
