You’re the cornerstone of care in your community; now’s the time to show it! Fill out the Community Pharmacy Impact Census to tell us how you’re making a difference. The census is open only until Monday, July 6 and can be completed on any device in about eight minutes. We use the answers in the NCPA Digest, sponsored by Cardinal Health, to document how community pharmacies get involved with the public.
The Census was how we found out that 93 percent of independent pharmacies are a flu-shot destination, that 6 percent of owners and/or employees hold an elected local or state office, and that nearly half of you provide more than $3,000 in monetary support to community organizations. Stats like this make it obvious that independent pharmacies are a vital part of the community.
