A major piece of legislation with provisions requiring an audit of the Tricare pharmacy contract held by Express Scripts Inc. is scheduled for a vote in the House of Representatives later this week. Contact your representative immediately and urge them to support the bill when it comes to a vote!
The provisions in this legislation, called the National Defense Authorization Act, would also enhance transparency and provide insights into ESI’s reimbursement of its own pharmacies versus other non-affiliated retail pharmacies and examine network adequacy in the Tricare program.
