The Drug Enforcement Agency has announced that it arrested 24 members of a drug ring last month in Houston, the culmination of a 21-month investigation into a drug trafficking organization responsible for nearly 200 pharmacy burglaries across the country. The arrests brought the total number of people facing charges connected to the drug ring to 42 for burglaries across 31 states since November 2023. The ring targeted rural pharmacies, stealing drugs like oxycodone, Xanax, and Adderall. The results of the first phase of this operation were announced in December. For details, click here.
