NCPA worked with bill sponsor, State Rep. Dale Wright (R-116), and pharmacy stakeholders in support of Missouri HB 197 in advance of a House Health and Mental Health Policy Committee hearing on Feb. 13. The sweeping PBM legislation includes provisions addressing rebates, reimbursement appeals processes, equal reimbursement between PBM-affiliated and non-affiliated pharmacies, PBM fiduciary responsibilities, and 340b discrimination. HB 197 was voted favorably out of committee by a 11-3 vote. The bill is now referred to the House Rules Committee — Legislative Oversight.
