NCPA worked with Rep. Dale Wright (R-116) and pharmacy stakeholders in support of Missouri HB 197 in advance of a House Health and Mental Health Policy Committee hearing on Monday. The sweeping PBM legislation includes provisions addressing rebates, reimbursement appeals processes, equal reimbursement between PBM-affiliated and non-affiliated pharmacies, PBM fiduciary responsibilities, and 340b discrimination. HB 197 was voted out of committee by a 11-3 vote and now moves on to the rules committee and then to the House floor.
