Our convention’s just around the corner …

NCPA September 28, 2026

Less than a week now until we kick off the 2026 NCPA Annual Convention, Oct. 3-6, in Kansas City, Mo. This year’s convention is focused on the “how to” of advancing your pharmacy business, using both classic best practices and developing opportunities. #NCPA2026 is the place to be if you’re looking for expert insights from industry pros and your community pharmacy peers, whether it’s wowing your customers, marketing to long-term care communities, making the right decisions around hiring, firing, and promoting staff, or something else entirely.

Join us at our Expo Hall — one of the most diverse exhibit halls in the industry — to speak with vendors offering business-enhancing products and services. Explorers will be able to navigate the floor easily by following “Main Street.” Along the way, you’ll encounter “how-to” booths with experts who can answer your lingering questions about topics that will help you improve your pharmacy’s operations or engage in programs in a more informed way, including how to make a staff member a community health worker, become an LTC combo shop, or comply with DSCSA, among many other subjects.

We also have pre-convention workshops on different aspects of long-term care, pharmacy ownership, and using AI in effective ways to enhance your business’ operations and profitability, as well as an Oct. 3 workshop included with your registration with customer service expert Laurie Guest on how simple, low-cost actions can shape how patients view your pharmacy, build loyalty in your community, and create the “wow” factor that keeps customers coming back.

And don’t forget our receptions, where you’ll be able to get to know your peers over food and drinks in a casual setting. Our Opening Night Reception, sponsored by McKesson, brings the charm of a backyard BBQ together with an elevated culinary experience, including a build-your-own BBQ rub station presented by the Museum of BBQ. Our Monday Night Mix and Mingle, sponsored by GeriMed and WSPC, will feature local artisans, specialty makers, and culinary favorites, offering attendees an authentic taste of the city’s entrepreneurial spirit alongside live music from Lost Wax, a mash-up party band bringing high-energy hits to keep the celebration going all night.

Registration costs will be higher on-site, so if you haven’t already locked in your attendance, click here. If you’re ready to plan your convention experience now, head on over to our agenda tool or download our NCPA+ app to start laying out your itinerary.
