Recently, NCPA PAC Chairman Steve Giroux traveled to Washington, D.C. to support Rep. Nick Langworthy (R-N.Y.), who represents his district. While in Washington, Giroux had the opportunity to speak with several key figures, including CMS Administrator Mehmet Oz, House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), and Reps. Brett Guthrie (R-Ky.), chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.
These face-to-face interactions leave a lasting impression and are effective in promoting a pro-pharmacy legislative agenda.
