BBQ fans rejoice! By now, you likely know our 2026 Annual Convention, Oct. 3-6, is going to be in Kansas City, Mo., a city famous for its diverse, delicious BBQ scene. It’s such a big facet of the city’s culture that it’s a bit overwhelming — luckily, we’ve got NCPA’s Jessica Satterfield, a K.C. native and certified barbecue judge, on hand to explain where you should grab a bite during your free time! This time, she headed to Joe’s Kansas City Bar-B-Que to taste their savory brisket and delectable mac and cheese.
