NCPA’s Month of Action continues in Wisconsin

NCPA August 11, 2026

rep moores hyatt pharmacy visitLast week, Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Wis.), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, visited a Hayat Pharmacy location in Milwaukee. Hayat Pharmacy is owned by NCPA board member Hashim Zaibak, and during the visit, his pharmacy staff impressed Moore with the pharmacy’s test to treat program and bubble packaging services and discussed pharmacy priorities, including H.R. 3164, the Main Street Pharmacy Access Act (formerly ECAPS).

Visits such as these are critical to ensuring additional PBM reforms pass this Congress. Turn the current congressional recess periods into results by hosting your legislators for a pharmacy visit! Face-to-face meetings are the most impactful way to convey the urgency of enacting additional legislative measures this year. Legislators are away from Washington until the end of August for the House and after Labor Day for the Senate. They are scheduled to be away again from Oct. 2-Nov. 8. These are great opportunities to host members of Congress or their key staff for a visit to your pharmacy.
