The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform is scheduled to mark up the Pharmacists Fight Back Act today, July 22, at 10 a.m. ET. The bipartisan bill aims to reform pharmacy reimbursement in the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program, ban patient steering, and protect patient choice within the program. NCPA has vigorously supported both versions of the Pharmacists Fight Back Act and included it as one of its legislative priorities during this year’s Congressional Pharmacy Fly-In. Notably, one of the bill’s two original sponsors, Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), is chairman of the committee.
