Once again, NCPA’s design gurus, Michael Abernethy and Tyler Poirier, have raked in several awards in the 2025 GDUSA Inhouse Design Awards Showcase, the 63rd edition of the long-running contest celebrating creative excellence in graphic design. It's the seventh consecutive year that our design team has won awards in the contest. We’re also happy to announce the first-ever writing award for our magazine, America's Pharmacist®.
The GDUSA awards process is selective, with roughly 100 organizations receiving awards this year out of thousands of applications. This team – our team – consistently creates new and creative designs, logos, and magazine covers that we're all excited about, including every single page of every single issue of America's Pharmacist, not to mention campaigns, convention booth graphics, and the advertisements that raise awareness of vital issues affecting independent community pharmacy. Check out their award-winning designs here.
For our nationwide award for editorial content, NCPA received an Award of Excellence from the Apex Awards for our three-article series on independent pharmacists’ experiences during the 2025 fires in the Los Angeles area and their aftermath. The Apex Awards recognize high-quality work by communicators in corporate, nonprofit, and independent settings. The magazine’s editorial team works strenuously every month to ensure we put out the best magazine possible, and the award is well-earned.
