NCPA’s “Neighbors, Not Numbers” branding campaign has continued full steam since we launched it this March. The ads have driven 59,000 new customer visits to pharmacy locations included in the campaign. That’s a 6.3 percent increase in foot traffic compared to the 12 months before the campaign started. In May, 96 percent of viewers on streaming TV who saw our video ads watched them to completion, and 83 percent of viewers of online videos finished them. That’s incredible performance; the benchmark for similar campaigns is 70 percent. It shows that viewers think our message is relevant, and that we’re telling it in a compelling way.
As a reminder, we launched the two-year “Neighbors, Not Numbers” campaign to remind consumers in areas around NCPA member pharmacies of the high-quality experience consumers get at independent pharmacies; it also sends them to our Pharmacy Locator tool so they can find an independent near them. The campaign ran on national and local TV first, and has since shifted to digital advertising, streaming TV, and social media.
So far, 415 video ads have been customized by member pharmacies to feature their branding, ensuring that viewers know exactly where to go when reminded of the value independent pharmacies bring to their communities. Member pharmacies can customize the ads running in their area here.
The campaign will continue through 2027. Remember, we’re only targeting consumers around NCPA member locations — so if you’re not an NCPA member, we hope you’ll see the value in joining our organization. Check out the membership benefits here.
