As patients' most accessible health care provider, community pharmacists are perfectly positioned to recognize and respond when encountering patients experiencing mental health and substance use disorder challenges. Our Mental Health First Aid certification program will help you prepare your staff to recognize those patients' struggles, interact with those patients in an appropriate way, and connect them with help. We're holding the training March 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET. Space is limited to just 30 registrants, and the registration deadline is next Wednesday, March 11.
Pharmacists and pharmacy team members are more likely to encounter a patient who needs help with a mental health episode than to a situation requiring basic life support or CPR. Thanks to the support of the Cardinal Health Foundation, we are able to offer a $50 discount on all registration fees. Register here.
