If you're a student interested in attending the NCPA Pharmacy Ownership Workshop, March 21-22 in Charlotte, N.C., you may be eligible for a scholarship from the NCPA Foundation! With support from Pharmacists Mutual, the foundation provides a limited number of scholarships for pharmacy students to attend this soup-to-nuts crash course on the need-to-knows of owning a pharmacy.
Sponsored by McKesson and, in part, by First Financial Bank and Pharmacists Mutual Companies, the Pharmacy Ownership Workshop is open to current and prospective pharmacy owners, including those just starting their post-graduate careers! This intensive two-day event will cover a bevy of important components of starting and running a pharmacy, including the loan approval process, licensure agreements, creating a start-up checklist, writing a business plan, designing an effective store layout, and much more.
Apply now for a scholarship before the Feb. 23 application deadline; you can contact the NCPA Foundation with any questions.
