A few highlights from the upcoming NCPA Multiple Locations Conference

We're seven days from the kickoff of this year's Multiple Locations Conference, taking place Feb. 18-21, in Clearwater Beach, Fla. It'll be packed with business strategy and networking opportunities that will set you up for ownership excellence. Built for owners and managers of more than one location, or single-store owners with plans to expand, MLC is a chance to rub elbows with the industry's best and brightest. Online registration has closed, but it will reopen on-site.

Today we're highlighting three sessions on the agenda, including one on remote patient monitoring and chronic care management, another of our popular Take 5 sessions, and a presentation by the winning students of the 2025 Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Competition.

Here they are in more detail:

  • In "Scaling Impact Through Remote Patient Monitoring and Chronic Care Management," experts will discuss practical lessons learned, common challenges, and best practices for deploying and scaling effective programs. Speakers will include Richard "Tripp" Logan, III, PharmD, owner, SEMO Rx Pharmacies, lead luminary, CPESN® Community Health; Amina Abubakar, PharmD, AAHIVP, CEO, Avant Pharmacy and Wellness; and Joe Moose, PharmD, co-owner, Moose Pharmacy, director of strategy and luminary development, CPESN USA.
  • Jay Phipps, PharmD, MBA, FACA, FACVP, owner of Phipps Pharmacy, will present at one of our hugly popular Take 5 sessions, where pharmacy peers share something they do in their pharmacy that is working well for them for five minutes. Attendees have 10 minutes to interact, ask questions, and offer suggestions. When time runs out, it's on to the next one. You'll love this fast-moving time full of expense-reducing and revenue-generating tips.
  • The winners of the 2025 Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Competition will present their award-winning concept for an independent pharmacy designed as a comprehensive health and wellness destination. The winning team from the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy will share their concept for a holistic care approach integrating pharmacy services with wellness and fitness programming through a cash-based membership model.
