With a new year comes new projects. One of the best steps your pharmacy can take in 2026 is to launch a med sync program to help expand your clinical programs and improve key performance indicators — but building a med sync program all on your own takes up hours you could spend working with your patients or managing the rest of your business. That's where the NCPA/CPESN® Med Sync Fellowship Program comes in. It teaches staff at NCPA member pharmacies the ins and outs of not just running a med sync program, but how to make it effective, sustainable, and efficient. If you think this program can work for your pharmacy, make sure you sign up by the Jan. 31 enrollment deadline.
Through a blend of on-demand learning and live support, this nine-month, guided implementation program offers practical, actionable strategies rooted in best practices. Participating pharmacies will leave the fellowship with a complete med sync workflow, customized med sync SOP, and KPI tracking and reporting structures. You'll have already hit the ground running, too, having built a patient-centered, appointment-based model with at least a 30 percent increase of eligible prescription volume synced and a measurable reduction in prescription inventory holding costs of 25 percent or greater.
