NCPA’s ad calling out PBMs as the leeches they are won a Pollie Award from the American Association of Political Consultants in the Public Affairs/Issue Advocacy category. The awards recognize excellence in political advertising. In the ad, a doctor informs a patient that his high prescription costs are due to the PBM leeches crawling all over his chest and bleeding him dry.
