The nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be secretary of Health and Human Services passed out of the Senate Finance Committee on Feb. 4. The vote was 14–13 along party lines. The next step will be consideration on the Senate floor; that confirmation vote has not yet been scheduled.
