This week the Joint Commission of Pharmacy Practitioners, a group acting as a forum for national pharmacy organizations to consider important issues in pharmacy, met in Alexandria, Va. The representatives present, including NCPA President Jeff Harrell, explored lessons learned by CPESN® around patient care services payment, as well as collaborative approaches used in Minnesota, North Carolina, and Washington.
In 2025 the commission will focus on improving recognition of and payment for patient care services, including supporting their members’ ability to sustain and grow provision of patient care services.
