If you're interested in our Executive Residency program and haven't yet applied, it's time to get moving—the application deadline is 11:59 p.m. ET this Sunday, Dec. 15! The 13-month program prepares doctor of pharmacy graduates for careers in association management or independent pharmacy. Executive residents work in our Alexandria, Va., headquarters and receive competitive salaries and benefits, with relocation assistance available. The program runs June 1, 2025-June 30, 2026. You can learn more here and apply here. Alongside that program, we’re also searching for our new summer intern and have other opportunities for students interested in getting more involved with NCPA.
We've got a few more offerings for you to consider:
-
Our summer internship, sponsored by the NCPA Foundation, is a flexible 10-week program based out of NCPA's Alexandria, Va., headquarters, beginning in May or June. A midterm and a final report are required, and the intern is expected to complete at least one project in a mutually agreed upon area of interest. Applications are due Dec. 31. You can apply here.
-
The NCPA Student Leadership Council allows pharmacy student members to contribute to NCPA's work by helping to promote the pharmacy profession and the role of independent community pharmacists, as well as manage communications between student chapters and the national organization. You can apply by the Dec. 31 deadline here.
-
And NCPA's Association Management APPE program provides students with an experiential rotation opportunity to work on long-term projects related to their rotation goals. The rotation is meant to fill the elective feature of a school or college of pharmacy's curriculum-based experiential program. It's designed to be four to six weeks, though scheduling is flexible. Applications are taken year-round. The application is available here.
