NCPA member Amar Sappidi, owner of Westlake Drug and Giftshop, was featured in reporting by Kalamazoo, Mich.-based News Channel 3 on the closures of several Walgreens locations across the country.
Sappidi told the journalists he expected a wave of customers that might be hard to manage if multiple Walgreens stores close in his area. He also cited low reimbursements from insurers as a major reason that pharmacies are struggling. To watch the video or read the article, click here.
