CMS is spearheading a National Pharmacy Educational Outreach Campaign on the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan, a provision of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). It’s intended to provide pharmacy professionals with information about the implementation of the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan which begins Jan. 1, 2025. Interested parties can join any one of the 10 recurring webinars that will begin Friday, Sept. 6, and end on Monday, Sept. 30. This is an entirely new program for Part D, and pharmacy personnel can learn more about it before open enrollment starts in October.
