ICYMI: NCPA and others urge Congress to push harder on PBM reform

Last week, NCPA joined with five other pharmacy groups in sending a letter to Congress urging the need for the prioritization of meaningful PBM reform. The letter highlights the essential reforms NCPA has prioritized this Congress, including Medicaid managed care payment reform and provisions requiring CMS to define and enforce reasonable and relevant contract terms in Medicare Part D. As the upcoming government spending packages loom, NCPA continues to work with Congress and industry stakeholders to pursue meaningful PBM reform.
