Pharmacy fellowship Q+A

NCPA January 31, 2024

Let’s clear up some questions about the NCPA Innovation Center/CPESN Community Pharmacy Fellowship. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s an executive MBA-like program that showcases outstanding pharmacy peers who walk participants through implementing successful services that generate revenue beyond dispensing. Who can join? Licensed pharmacists working at an NCPA-member pharmacy. When do fellows meet? Twice a month over the course of 12 months. . What are the details? For a fellow working full time at the pharmacy, roughly three-and-a-half days would be dedicated to site-directed work activities each week and one-and-a-half days would be dedicated to fellowship-directed work activities each week. This isn’t 12 hours in front of a computer completing virtual assignments. This is time-on-target, implementing the services being taught in the fellowship into the pharmacy workflow. The next class launches in March and enrollment is open now through Feb. 16, so sign up today!
