A Pittsburgh-area pharmacy owner was recognized last week for providing vaccinations to his community. Adam Rice, owner of Spartan Pharmacy of Bethel Park in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, was honored by the Bethel Park Council, along with pharmacy manager Jodi Mitchell and Dr. Timothy Campbell. Campbell supervised the vaccination clinic, which administered about 12,000 shots during the clinics. “We all know what a terrific job they did during the COVID situation,” Mayor Jack Allen said. “Every clinic got better and better and faster and faster,” he said, adding that at one clinic, nearly 3,000 shots were administered in a day.
