The National Academies for Science, Engineering and Mathematics has released its report on compounded bioidentical hormone therapy. The recommendations in this report could lead to impaired access to compounded bioidentical hormone replacement therapies . NCPA is reviewing the report and will discuss it with our Compounding Committee. We will work with stakeholders, including state boards of pharmacy, on next steps.
