Pharmacist announces run for Congress

NCPA May 7, 2020

This year, we've got a chance to DOUBLE the number of pharmacists in Congress. Diana Harshbarger, PharmD, owner of Premier Pharmacy in Kingsport, Tenn., is running in to represent Tennessee's 1st District. Diana is an NCPA member who has served her community for over 30 years as a pharmacist and small business owner. Check out her announcement video, "The Right Medicine." NCPA PAC is proud to support Diana's run for Congress with the maximum $5,000 contribution. It is critical that we elect pharmacists to Congress who will fight for issues that impact community pharmacy, such as lowering prescription drug prices by eliminating PBM middlemen and increasing generic drug pricing transparency. NCPA needs YOUR help in growing pharmacy leadership in Congress. Check out Diana's website, Facebook, and Twitter pages. Make sure to spread the message to #VoteDiana with your friends and followers. Later this month, NCPA PAC will host a webinar (details coming soon) with Diana and Rep. Buddy Carter (R-Ga.) so you can learn more about her campaign. If you have any questions, please email Eric Lundberg or call him at 703-600-1184.
