- March 12 – Building a Sustainable Clinical Services Model in an Independent Community Pharmacy webinar, part of our NCPA Learning Hour series. Explore how a community pharmacy expanded pharmacist-led clinical services to support sustainable practice. Learn more and register.
- March 15 – Mental Health First Aid training, online. Pharmacy team members are more likely to encounter a mental health episode than a situation requiring basic life support or CPR. This live online training course will help attendees identify, understand, and respond to people in need of this assistance. Thanks to the Cardinal Health Foundation, registration is available at a reduced rate. Learn more and register by March 11.
- March 19 – Pharmacy Readiness Playbook for Global Soccer Championship webinar, part of our NCPA Learning Hour series. Learn practical strategies that will help independent community pharmacies stay prepared and ready to score big with patients while the United States hosts an upcoming major global soccer tournament. - March 26 – Nutrition Literacy in the Aisles: Empowering Pharmacy Teams to Deliver Practical, Culturally Responsive Food Guidance for Patients with Diabetes webinar, part of our NCPA Learning Hour series. Examine how pharmacy teams can use on-the-shelf food products to guide healthier choices, tailor nutrition messaging for diverse patient populations, and leverage food-based education to support referrals to Diabetes Self-Management Education and Support services. - March 21-22 – Pharmacy Ownership Workshop, sponsored by McKesson and in part by First Financial Bank and Pharmacists Mutual Companies, taking place in Charlotte, N.C. An intensive two-day event for pharmacists considering pharmacy ownership or current owners looking to polish their management skills. Learn more and register.
- April 15-16 – Congressional Pharmacy Fly-In, taking place in Alexandria, Va. and Washington, D.C. This is the most important advocacy event on the calendar. Build rapport and foster relationships with those making decisions central to the future of pharmacy. Learn more and register.
- April 18-19 – Business of Long-Term Care Workshop, taking place in Alexandria, Va. This is an intensive crash course on owning and operating a long-term care pharmacy. It will help attendees get started and to grow their LTC offering from a few to a few thousand patients. Learn more and register.
