April NCPA Events for Pharmacy Teams

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (March 29, 2022) – The National Community Pharmacists Association is pleased to announce these upcoming events for pharmacists and pharmacy team members taking place in April:

  • April 9-10: NCPA Pharmacy Ownership Workshop, sponsored by McKesson, in Atlanta. At this workshop, a team of experts will answer the nitty-gritty questions about the loan approval process, licensure agreements, creating a start-up checklist, writing a business plan, designing an effective store layout, and more. This is a can’t-miss program for those planning to someday open their own store, new pharmacy owners, and those thinking about taking the next step in the industry. Learn more and register.
  • April 26: Future of the Front End, live webinar. Front-end specialist Gabe Trahan will provide a fresh look at the ideal community pharmacy front end while showing you how to attract customers to grow your business. From fixtures and effective signage to premium line over the counter products, it’s time for your pharmacy’s front end to showcase your strengths. Learn more and register.
  • April 29-30: Business of Long-Term Care Workshop, presented by the NCPA Innovation Center, at NCPA headquarters in Alexandria, Va. This is an intensive crash course on owning and operating a long-term care pharmacy. Conversations will include relationship-building with area facilities, regulations to be aware of, types of packaging to consider, and other logistical and staffing considerations that will help attendees grow their long-term offering from a few to a few thousand beds.
