Andrea K. Bourque - LTC Pharmacy at Home Workshop

Andrea K. Bourque is a dedicated pharmacist, general manager, and owner of Delaune's Pharmacy and Home Medical, the oldest independent pharmacy proudly serving the New Iberia community. A native of New Iberia who was raised in Broussard, Andrea’s deep local roots run generations deep; her parents, Danny Bourque and Alethia Bourque, are originally from New Iberia and Jeanerette, La. This strong heritage inspires her commitment to treating every local family like her own and delivering highly personalized health care that goes far beyond filling standard prescriptions.

Bourque’s academic journey began at the University of Louisiana and Louisiana State University, before she earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2011. Following graduation, she began her career as a clinical pharmacist in Lafayette, where she spent years specializing in clinical hospice and palliative care. Currently, Bourque has served as the RxVIP trust manager and pharmacist in charge for Rayne Medicine Shoppe in Rayne, La., since 2018. In 2024, Bourque proudly took ownership of Delaune’s Pharmacy, bringing her extensive clinical expertise back home to the community.

In addition to her pharmaceutical background, Bourque holds a specialized Community Health Worker certification. This unique training empowers her to serve as a vital link between complex medical care and her community's everyday needs, guiding patients seamlessly through health challenges and local resource navigation. Under her leadership, Delaune's Pharmacy provides vital wellness solutions, including specialized Medication Therapy Management, hormone replacement therapy consultations, routine immunizations, and essential Durable Medical Equipment.

Bourque is deeply invested in her community's cultural and civic life, actively serving on the board of the Bayou Teche Museum and participating on the local literary festival program committee. Outside of the pharmacy, her interests include spending time with her kitties, traveling, solving puzzles, and enjoying quality time with her family.

Leanne Haley-Brown - Advanced LTC Pharmacy and LTC Pharmacy at Home Workshops

Leanne Haley-Brown is the program lead for CPESN® Pharmacy Care at Home and CEO of Impact Pharmacy Services. She works as an independent consultant in the pharmacy industry and is also a published author and educator. Haley-Brown is a member of the ASCP/Lamy Center 4Ms advisory committee, whose purpose is to bring patient-centered senior care pharmacist training to the pharmacy care at home sector. As an "Age-Friendly" certified pharmacist, she develops programs focused on creating payment pathways for pharmacist-provided clinical services.

Henry Chang - Advanced LTC Pharmacy and LTC Pharmacy at Home Workshops

Henry Chang, PharmD, is one of the co-founders of 986 Degree Corp and the long-term care advisor with 986 Pharmacy Group. Chang holds ownership interests in both retail and long-term care pharmacy and has played a pivotal role in the growth of 986 Pharmacy Group.

Chang earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California in 2002 and Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1998.

Currently, Chang oversees 986 long-term operations at the two locations in Monrovia, Calif., and in Las Vegas, Nev. His work spans operational, clinical, and communication systems that keep long-term care pharmacy services running smoothly for skilled nursing, assisted living and senior living communities, including experience guiding pharmacy teams and facility partners through effective collaboration. Throughout his career, Chang has demonstrated a commitment to advancing pharmacy operations while maintaining a strong focus on clinical excellence, patient care, and the unique needs of long-term care communities. His breadth of experience enables him to bridge clinical and operational priorities while helping 986 Pharmacy Group navigate the evolving demands of long-term care pharmacy services.

Betsy Powers Reynolds - Advanced LTC Pharmacy Workshop

Betsy Powers Reynolds, PharmD, is a senior care pharmacist and health care leader with more than 15 years of experience advancing medication safety, clinical quality, and regulatory performance across long-term care, senior living, ambulatory surgery, and post-acute care settings. As partner and director of pharmacy consulting at Method Healthcare, she partners with interdisciplinary teams to optimize medication management, support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives, and strengthen care transitions to reduce hospital readmissions. Reynolds earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City and is licensed in Kansas and Missouri. She is a frequent speaker and respected advisor on geriatric pharmacotherapy, antipsychotic stewardship, wound healing, and quality improvement.

In addition to her professional practice, Reynolds is actively engaged in leadership and service, including roles with the Parkinson’s Foundation Heartland Chapter Advisory Board, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment Drug Utilization Review Board, and multiple professional pharmacy organizations. Her career reflects a sustained commitment to improving medication use, advancing clinical education, and supporting high-quality care for older adults.

Susan Rhodus - Advanced LTC Pharmacy and LTC Pharmacy at Home Workshops

Susan Rhodus is the senior vice president of contracts and advocacy at GeriMed. In this role, her primary responsibility is to negotiate contracts with pharmaceutical manufacturers and PBMs for long-term care pharmacies that bill Medicare Part D, Part A, and other payers. With 40 years of experience as a pharmacist in the industry, Susan keeps herself current in LTC by consulting with nursing home facilities and reviewing changes in regulations and legislation. She is a sought-after speaker, addressing various audiences on the topic of Medicare Part D and its effects on long-term care. Additionally, Rhodus is active in various associations, including NCPA, ASCP, SCPC, NCPDP, PQA, and the Alliance for LTC Pharmacy at Home Coalition.

Rodney Whittington Jr. - Advanced LTC Pharmacy Workshop

Rodney Whittington Jr. is the CEO of Method Healthcare and a health care executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience in senior living and long-term care operations. A licensed nursing home administrator and health services executive, he has successfully led communities across the continuum of care, including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and long-term care.

Whittington specializes in stabilizing and improving health care organizations through strong operational leadership, regulatory compliance, and team development. Under his leadership, multiple communities have achieved zero-deficiency surveys, and three communities have earned the CMS Five-Star Quality Rating. His leadership focuses on building high-performing teams and creating stable, high-quality environments for residents and staff alike.

His success has not gone unnoticed, leading him to the American Healthcare Association’s inaugural class of Future Leaders of LTC. In 2018, Whittington became a Health Services Executive recognized by the National Association of LTC Administrators Board, as well as a LeadingAge Kansas Leadership Fellow in 2019. Whittington has served on the leadership boards for Kansas Healthcare Associated, LeadingAge Kansas, and Kansas Adult Care Executives. He believes there is a direct correlation between the way staff is treated and the care they provide for the most vulnerable population. Nothing gives him more pride or motivation than assembling and retaining a great team of overachievers.
