As we’re finalizing this edition of qAM, President Donald Trump is wrapping up his Wednesday afternoon Rose Garden press conference rolling out broad new tariffs on countries around the world. While we know that the pharma industry and others had previously advocated for delayed or gradual tariffs on drugs, we haven’t yet seen from the White House specifics about the administration’s tariffs to report to readers how they may affect independent pharmacy businesses, prescription drug prices, and patient access to medications.
