The first episode of the docuseries Modern Medical Mafia is now available to stream! The team at Patient Protector, which is producing the series, expects to publish at least four episodes.
Episode one, "The America That the Mafia Created," delves into what pharmacy benefit managers are, why they were created, and the basics of how they were able to grow into the behemoths that subliminally run the crime ring that is American health care today. Viewers will hear the story of Cole Schmidtknecht and how every American is affected by PBM abuse, gain an understanding of how employers are being ripped off by their health plans, and learn how we can rise together to demand PBM transparency and reform.
