The pharmacy services administrative organization Pharmacy First has purchased an ownership stake in AlignRx, another PSAO, alongside current owners Pharmacy Providers of Oklahoma, Inc. and Arete Pharmacy Network LLC. In a press release, AlignRx President Melanie Maxwell said the change “created a powerful synergy where we’re laser-focused on the vibrant sustainability and growth of community pharmacy.” The combination will mean AlignRx will become one of the largest PSAOs, serving over 5,600 community pharmacies.
