In this month's issue of America's Pharmacist®, we share the story of Marc Ost, CPhT, and Eric Abramowitz, RPh, who opened Community Pharmacy Services, a long-term care pharmacy in suburban Philadelphia. After learning there was high demand, they began building out a smaller LTC operation before expanding to build a whole new location.
Eric, along with Rich Ost, RPh, Marc's father, started Eric's Rx Shoppe in 2009 and saw the expansion into LTC as a natural step in the process of taking care of patients. They now have five accounts, with one of its focus areas being continuing-care retirement communities, which incorporate all levels of care.
