Around 100 Kansas independent community pharmacies were closed on Wednesday, Feb. 5 during a day of advocacy in Topeka. The closures demonstrated to communities what it might be like to lose a local pharmacy to insufficient reimbursements from PBMs.
KPhA’s advocacy in the state capital included a rally attended by hundreds of pharmacists. You can read more about the events from local broadcast stations WIBW and KWCH as well as High Plains Public Radio.
