Pharmacists can serve as a critical point of contact for those experiencing mental health issues. The Mental Health First Aid certification, from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, helps pharmacists learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. We'll next be holding the training on Feb. 26.
Thanks to the support of the Cardinal Health Foundation, we are able to offer a $50 discount on all registration fees. NCPA members can pay just $45 to attend the training, less than half of the price for non-members! Space is limited to 30 registrants, so sign up before it's too late! If you have any questions, you can reach out to Hannah Fish, NCPA senior director, strategic initiatives at [email protected].
