Last Friday, alongside his colleagues in the 119th Congress, Derek Tran, pharmacy owner and NCPA member, was sworn in to serve in the House of Representatives representing California's 45th Congressional District. Following the ceremony, NCPA Vice President Ken Thai and NCPA's Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Anne Cassity were able to congratulate Tran on his victory.
NCPA is proud to have supported Tran's underdog race for Congress against an incumbent member of Congress. He joins Reps. Buddy Carter (R-Ga.) and Diana Harshbarger (R-Tenn.) as the three pharmacists/pharmacy owners in Congress.
