Pharmacists who want to work to address interoperability barriers to providing clinical services at scale can join a national, interprofessional Pharmacy Interoperability Work group to be launched in early 2025 by the Sequoia Project. As a sign of commitment to including the voice of independent pharmacies, Sequoia has created a special limited membership at a greatly discounted fee for independent pharmacies participating in the work group. NCPA members, dispensing system vendors, payers and others contributed to a series of listening sessions that shaped the plan for the work group. Review the findings here. Pharmacists from all practice settings are needed to move towards health data interoperability.
The Sequoia Project is an independent, trusted advocate for nationwide health information exchange. To learn more you can contact [email protected] or [email protected].
