A huge thanks to NCPA member HB Pharmacy in North Arlington, N.J., for getting the word out about PBM reform to its patients (and for rocking our stylish t-shirts)! Since February, we’ve helped patients send over 50,000 letters to all 100 Senate and 430 House of Representatives offices. Those letters are critical to getting PBM reform higher on the priority lists of members of Congress, and we need to get a lot more of them sent to show them just how much consumers and pharmacies care about this issue. That’s where you can help.
If every pharmacist were to get 10 patients to send letters to their representatives in Congress, both chambers would be flooded with messages in support of PBM reform. It’s a simple process:
1. Visit www.ncpa.org/finishthefight
2. Scroll to campaign resources
3. Select a poster to print and display in your pharmacy
4. Ask your patients to scan the QR code and enter their name and address
5. Have them click the submit letters link to complete their action
We also need you to contact your legislators and urge them to sign onto a bipartisan letter to congressional leadership asking for robust PBM reform before the end of the year. Help us keep pushing for your priorities in Congress!
