Teams from three schools went head-to-head yesterday at this year’s Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Competition, with each pitching a business plan for buying and expanding the services of an existing pharmacy to show that their plan is the most likely to succeed.
The three competing schools are the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy, the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy, and the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy.
Each team had 20 minutes to make their case, presenting their business plans as though they were talking to a potential lender who could finance their project, followed by a Q&A period with the judges.
Stay tuned—the winner will be announced Sunday! The winning team gets a $6,000 cash prize and a trip to the NCPA Multiple Locations Conference in Clearwater, Florida.
